LC4 Chaise Longue (Fr: long chair)) is one of the most famous furniture by designer Le Corbusier. The lounger was designed 1927 for the Parisien autumn salon  by the famous architect Le Corbusier and his cousin and designer colleague Pierre Jeanneret and designer Charlotte Perriandand. It was shortly afterwards named "Resting Machine”  The resting position is adjusted without any mechanism, only gravity keeps the LC4 chaise longue in position.
