Table Tulip oval 516, Eero Saarinen 1956
The Tulip table is the first one-legged table in furniture history. The famous Bauhaus designer Eero Saarinen designed it in the 1950s. His plan was to do something about the boring and ugly four-legged tables. He used an aluminum pillar base to provide a clear design and as a table top he chose different shape (round, or ovale) and used material - laminate, or marble.
The result is the elegant Saarinen tulip tables, whose sweeping shape creates a sophisticated impression in all environments.
Oval Tulips dining, conference table 516 with white or black lacquered aluminum base. Table top in laminate white / black, or marble Carrara white, or Mariquinia black with anti-slip coating (note: marble is a natural product)
The Oval Tulip Table is available in 3 sizes.
