LC2 armchair is one of the most famous armchairs in the world. It was designed by the famous designer and architect Le Corbusier and his colleagues in 1927 for the Parisian Salon d’automne. His design stands for education and success. You will find the cube-shaped classics of the LC2 furniture series in renowned law firms and companies. They also appear quite often in various TV shows.
The armchair consists of four box-shaped cushions that are held in shape by a tubular steel frame. The sides are square, seat and backrest are rectangular, so that a cube results.
The frame of this classics furniture consists of an elaborately curved, chromed tubular steel frame.
The leather cushions are filled with polyurethane foam and dacron wadding.
The seat of the LC2 was additionally filled with down feathers for optimal sitting comfort.
