The armchair LC2 as well as the sofa belong to the avant-garde furniture of the Bauhaus age that Le Corbusier designed with the designer Charlotte Perriand and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret for the 1927 Paris Salon. The armchair consists of four box-shaped cushions that are held in shape by a tubular steel frame. The sides are square, seat and backrest are rectangular, so that a cube results.
