Bibendum armchair by Eileen. Gray 1927 Bauhaus classics
Bibendum Chair is one of the most famous furniture designs of the 20th century by Bauhaus designer Eileen Gray. The name comes from a character of tire advertising for Michelin. The armchair was designed between 1917 - 1921 as part of the establishment of an apartment of Madame Mathieu Levy - owner of a well-known Parisian boutique.
