(Born March 24, 1886 in Paris, † February 8, 1945 ibid) was an avant-garde French architect of the late twenties and early thirties. His buildings emphasize the Cubist form. He was an important representative of the Art Deco in France, influenced by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Josef Hoffmann. The residential building in Rue Mallet-Stevens from 1926/27 is an example of his style.
